Testimonials

I had no idea where my lost super was or the names of the funds. I just new it was scattered everywhere and I should definitely have more than $3,000 in my super. Australian Super Finder found all 7 of my funds and now my balance is almost $50,000. Thank you so much for getting my super back on track. ? Leonie, Thomastown VIC

Super Facts and Tips

Maximising the Effectiveness of Insurance Cover

This is a way of serving their clients in the most efficient way. These cover can be embedded within and outside super and act as a comprehensive protection to clients and help them to reap the benefits through superannuation.

Flexible Levels of Cover

Flexible levels of cover are also available so that insurance can be served to every client's distinct circumstances. In all products, higher degrees of life coverage can be interpreted as debt or estate planning as far as the dependents is involved, while under other funds, greater levels of TPD coverage may be obtained for those who have no dependents and those expecting cover to offer a higher standard of expense that can be acquired through TPD.

Variable Linking

Variable Linking is a method of constructing cover so the insurance for the insured person can be obtained under a separate policy with varying policy owners, but still considered as linked insurance. For instance, insurance may be set under a single policy that is held by a trustee of the super fund and is related to a system maintained by the insured individual outside of super, like through Super Optimizer. Like in some funds, it means that Life and Temporary or Permanent Disability can be obtained inside super and the tax efficiency of such structuring conserved while allowing clients to get linked Trauma Insurance outside of super at the same time.

Self-managed super funds or SMSF

Where a self-managed superannuation fund is trying to take away insurance coverage for their fund, it's important to remember that the trustee must consider:
• How appropriate it would be to provide every kind of insurance coverage and the effects of the fund's complying status.
• The tax consequences of having the coverage.
• Superannuation laws that control the benefit's release limit.
